The AUDM and USDM versions of the TRD 86 were redesigned to be unique from the JDM version but still feature the same design language. While the bodykit, rear spoiler and fender garnishes are the exact same, there are minor differences such as interior configurations, suspension, wheels and exhaust. Both versions come in an exclusive paint colour and only in the highest trim of the Toyota 86.
The AUDM version sold for $38,000 aud ($24,000 usd) while the USDM was priced higher, at $29,000 usd. However, the USDM version comes with more parts from the TRD catalogue - quad tip exhaust, lowering springs, TRD shift knob and steering wheel.
Although there is little information regarding the overseas TRD bodykits, it is very likely that they were produced in Japan due to their similarities and fitment with JDM parts.
